The flavor of the Healthy ‘n Fit – 100% Egg Protein powder did not impress our tasters. A strange flavor with an eggy aftertaste is vanilla ice cream. The shake has a watery, frothy consistency. This powder really does “mix with a spoon,” according to the package; it just took a few seconds to shake it in our blender container to turn it into a smoothie.
The Healthy ‘N Fit powder includes a short list of components, with 100% pure extracted egg albumen mentioned first, despite its flavor. The stevia-sweetened powder has 100 calories per serving and provides 24 grams of pure protein along with zero grams of fat or carbohydrates.
9. Smart138 – Total Milk Protein

The opinions of our testers on the Smart138 – Total Milk Protein were evenly divided. The powder’s lack of flavor was appreciated by half of the participants, who noted that it just tasted “milky” and would be wonderful to combine with fruit or peanut butter. The other half found it difficult to drink and detested the insipid flavor.
The blended shake was overwhelmingly thick, according to all of our testers (one said it had a “mud-like” consistency). In fact, the powder was bafflingly difficult to combine; in order to make it a drinking consistency, we had to use twice as much water as was suggested. Even then, the powder was difficult to blend and produced a shake that was quite chalky.
On the plus side, the Smart138 powder has a simple list of ingredients: milk protein concentrate (in this case, a mixture of 80% casein and 20% whey protein). It is also non-GMO, gluten-free, and sweetener-free. The 120-calorie meal has 2 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fat, and 27 grams of protein, containing 5.37 grams of BCAAs.
10. Orgain – Organic Protein

The vegan plant-based Orgain – Organic Protein combination received the least favorable reviews from our testers. The most common adjective used to describe the flavor was “stale,” and it was also mentioned as being the most chalky and difficult to drink. Big pieces of the powder were left unmixed in our blender container after other brands had been blended smoothly. The powder also didn’t blend nicely.
The organic pea, brown rice, and chia-seed protein in the Orgain powder weighs 21 grams and has 150 calories per serving. Additionally, it boasts one of the highest carbohydrate ratios in our range at 15 grams and 4 grams of fat. Erythritol and stevia are used to sweeten the powder.
